End of Term

Well, here we are at the end of another term.  It seems like we just got started! One more term closer to graduation.  Wishing everyone good luck and good grades with your remaining classes and many blessings for your futures.

Almost over!

Well classmates, this term is almost over and here I have forgotten to post my blog last week. Boy what an interesting and trying week at work...I won't bore you all with details, but let's say it wasn't the greatest of weeks to be trying to finish off a good sized term paper as well as a smaller paper in another class , while trying to keep up with the regular assignments.  We have had some horrible weather, a lot of the country has, and it has succeeded in making me homesick for the first time since we moved up here.  I AM GOING HOME FOR A VISIT THIS SUMMER.....I really want to get my hands on my grandson and get me a great big "Nanny hug".
Best of luck to everyone with their papers. Revise, revise, revise and then proofread.

My family and I are SOOOOOO blessed! It was truly a blessing that we had to get up early for work and school today. I got up smelling something this morning...it turned out to be smoke.  We had an outlet to go bad and almost started a fire.  I caught it in the early stage where it was only scortching the panelling and working on melting the plug!!!!!!! Managed to get it unplugged and spray down the panelling.  What a day!!!
Now we are trying to decide whether or not to MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, to work.....time to tackle more work on my paper.

SOOOOOOOOOOO COLD!!!!!!!

Boy I am so tired of winter that it isn't funny.  So ready for spring. I realize that International Falls has just set a new record low this week...-46!!!!!! I think it is cold here, but I cannot even imagine being up there. Sorry to say I honestly don't even think I want to visit there.
Doing the draft on this term's paper, got to get a little more info to flesh it out a bit more, but seems to be moving along fairly well. Good luck to all my fellow students this term and all.

Term Paper

Getting started on this term's paper.  Have done some free writing and some talking methods to get myself jump started and try to field out some ideas to begin with OR eliminate in working on my draft for next unit.
Free writing usually works well for me because it gives me the opportunity to just be open and lose with my information and see where it takes me...this also gives me the freedom to fully read my research articles and pull all the information I want or need from the articles and the time to give credit where credit is due and attribute the information to whom it belongs.

NO MORE SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please, let everyone get a break from the snow..... I realize that there are many areas who have A LOT more snow than we do here in North Central West Virginia (or than we have had), and we are looking at another batch coming in tonight and tomorrow.  I want to see some green and some sunlight and feel some warm sunshine, for more than an hour or two.  Looking forward to some colorful flowers and...........oh well, SPRING BRING IT ON.
Problem with this is that it's only January!!!

A New Year, A New You?????????

Here it is the New Year, Welcome everyone...to 2011.  Hopefully this will be a better year for me and mine than the one past. Some of my dear friends and neighbors have gotten off to a fantastic start...one of them has now been sober for two whole months!!!! This news was the best Christmas present I could have gotten from her!!!!!
Hopefully, my efforts at better time management will yield me some possibly better grades and better completion times for my paper this term.
Wishing everyone a wonderful new year and hopes for everyone to keep those new year's resolutions. My main one is to better manage my time, and the other is to drink more water and get more walking done.
